Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how GPCOMPANY LTD ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use BudgetLife: Money Tracker (the "App").
1. Information you provide
The App lets you enter financial records such as transaction amounts, dates, currencies, categories, subcategories, budgets, and notes. These records are stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account system or a server that receives these financial records, and the App does not send them to Firebase Analytics or any other remote service.
Your device may include App data in an Android system backup if backup is enabled in your device or Google account settings. Such backups are controlled by Android and your backup provider.
2. Information collected automatically
The App uses the following Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Analytics — processes app interactions, app and device information, operating-system and language information, installation identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic or performance information.
- Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports, stack traces, device state at the time of a crash, and related diagnostic information to help us identify and fix bugs.
- Firebase Remote Config — retrieves configuration values to adjust App behaviour without requiring an update.
We use this information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App.
The App does not display any advertisements and does not integrate any advertising SDKs. No advertising identifiers (such as GAID or IDFA) are collected for ad-targeting purposes.
3. Exchange-rate service
When a transaction must be converted between currencies, the App sends the source currency, target currency, and transaction date to the Frankfurter exchange-rate API. It does not send the transaction amount, category, budget, or note. The service and its infrastructure providers may receive technical request information such as IP address and user agent. Retrieved rates are cached locally.
4. Websites displayed in the App
The App may retrieve an HTTPS address through Firebase Remote Config and display that website in an in-app browser. A displayed website may process IP address, user agent, cookies, local storage, and information you choose to submit. The displayed website's own privacy policy applies.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Technical and usage information may be processed by Google through Firebase, by the Frankfurter exchange-rate service and its infrastructure providers, and by the operator of any website displayed in the App. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect users and our legal rights.
6. Security and international processing
The App uses HTTPS for network connections and stores financial records in private local App storage. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
7. Retention and deletion
Financial records, categories, budgets, preferences, and cached rates remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Android backups and third-party services retain information according to their own settings and policies.
The App does not require or offer user account creation. Because no accounts exist, there is no in-app account-deletion flow. You can permanently remove all local App data at any time by clearing the App's storage in Android Settings or by uninstalling the App.
8. Your choices and rights
You can remove local App data through Android settings or by uninstalling the App. Contact us at privacy@gpcompany.com to exercise rights regarding information controlled by us.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights:
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data processed by us or our service providers; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA / CPRA): We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, and to request deletion of that information.
- Brazil (LGPD), India (DPDPA), and other jurisdictions: Similar rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection may apply. Contact us to learn how to exercise your rights under local law.
9. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it.
10. Third-party policies
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
